MOANA yacht power system
A 48V hybrid power system for yachts and launches: inverter charger, marine lithium and monitor, all sealed to IP67.
MOANA is TBB Marine’s complete power system for yachts and launches up to about 50ft. An MPX3.6S-LV inverter charger runs 230V appliances and charges from shore power, a generator and the engines. HS5 lithium batteries store the energy at 48V, and the X4 monitor shows the whole system and switches it on and off.
Because it works at 48V, MOANA can also power 48V air conditioners and electric motors directly, and it uses smaller, lighter cables than a 12V system of the same power.
Features
- One integrated system: inverter, chargers, battery and monitoring designed together.
- A 48V platform converts power more efficiently and runs 48V air conditioners and electric motors directly, up to 20kW, on lighter cabling.
- Runs the galley, air conditioning and a gyro stabiliser on 230V, with up to 14.4kW from four inverter chargers in parallel.
- Auto generator start runs the generator when the battery runs low, and power assist means a smaller generator can cover big loads.
- Charges from shore power, a generator and both engines’ alternators.
- Every major component is sealed to IP67 against water, salt and spray.
